Die Presse:

On 3 December 2020, the World Day of People with Disabilities, a colour supplement on employment was enclosed in the daily newspaper “Die Presse”. In the 4th edition of the magazine, which is published in cooperation with the Essl Foundation, 50 trend-setting companies that successfully recognise the potential of people with disabilities are presented. The certification system WACA is featured in an in-depth editorial report on an entire page.

Trade magazine Computerwelt:

In the annual issue of the renowned trade magazine with the Top 1001 IT providers, you will find a summary about the necessity of web accessibility, its economic advantages as well as all the legal background on the subject. Here you can find the online version of the two-page report.

On September 23, 2020, the cut-off date of the Web Accessibility Act, ORF dedicated a separate article on its homepage to the topic of web accessibility. The article can be read in easy language in the news section at https://orf.at/einfach/stories/3182344/
In addition, on March 15, 2021, a highly interesting editorial piece on the lack of accessibility of the Austrian COVID-19 websites was featured on ORF’s homepage: https://orf.at/stories/3203570/

Radio Ö1: 

The consumer magazine of the Austrian radio station Ö1 interviewed project manager Werner Rosenberger at the beginning of 2021 about the current situation of accessibility of public websites. Rosenberger also provided a short summary of what an accessible website should include and what needs to be taken into account. You can find a summary of the radio interview on the Help-ORF page.

medianet.at:

Together with our certification body TÜV Austria, an editorial article was published on medianet in February 2021 to highlight the importance of digital accessibility not only for people with disabilities, but also to explicitly emphasise the economic aspects of accessibility for all. medianet.at is one of the largest online business portals in Austria and, in printed form, "the" business weekly for sales, marketing and communication.
